واکاوی کیفی عوامل موثر بر شرکت در دوره های آمادگی آزمون زبان انگلیسی وزارت علوم، تحقیقات و فناوری (MSRT): با رویکرد نظریه داده بنیاد

چکیده

هدف این پژوهش ارائه یک نظریه براساس گردآوری نظام‌مند داده ها درباره عوامل موثر بر شرکت در دوره‌های آمادگی آزمون زبان وزارت علوم،‌تحقیقات و فناوری‌(MSRT) از دیدگاه دانشجویان شرکت‌‌کننده در این دوره ها بود. روش پژوهش حاضر به‌صورت کیفی و بر‌اساس روش نظریه داده‌بنیاد بود. نمونه پژوهش،9 دانشجوی دکتری (3 مرد و‌6زن) بودند که به‌روش نمونه‌گیری هدفمند، نظری و گلوله‌برفی انتخاب شدند. ضمن انجام مصاحبه نیمه‌‌ساختاریافته با شرکت‌کنندگان، مجموعه ای از مفاهیم و مقوله ها طی فرایندهای کدگذاری باز، محوری وگزینشی به دست آمد. بر‌اساس نتایج پژوهش، 6مقوله اصلی تحت عناوین شرایط علّی، پدیده محوری، مقوله راهبردی، مقوله زمینه‌ای، مقوله واسطه‌ای و مقوله پیامدی به-همراه زیرمقوله های آن ها استخراج و در قالب مدل نظری بر مبنای نظریه داده بنیاد ترسیم شد. در پایان، ضمن اشاره به پیامدها و عوامل مختلف موثر بر شرکت در دوره‌های آمادگی آزمون و نظرات شرکت کنندگان در این دوره ها، پیشنهاداتی برای انجام تحقیقات بیشتر ارائه گردید.

چکیده [English]

This data‌-‌driven study aimed at developing a theory on the influential factors making students enroll in MSRT test preparation courses. To meet this purpose, grounded theory was used. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews with 9 students (6 females, 3 males) who were selected through purposive, theoretical and snowball sampling. Data collection and analysis continued until the theoretical saturation was reached. The coding schemes of grounded theory including open, axial and selective coding yielded a set of categories and subcategories upon which a theoretical model was developed. In this model, "The influential factors making students enroll in MSRT test preparation courses "was found as the core category pulling other categories (i.e., causal conditions, action/interaction category, context-intervening conditions, intermediate category, and outcome category) together as a unified whole. Finally, based on the learner's attitudes and the obtained in-depth interview results, some implications and data-driven suggestions for further research were presented.
