Abstract

Abstract: With the continuous progress of the "Belt and Road" Initiative as well as the deepening of cooperation between China and Nepal, Nepal's demand for Chinese education is developing rapidly. This article first examines and analyzes foreign language education policies in Nepal, and then examines the educational environment and the current state of Chinese education development in that country. Therefore, these findings raise the challenges and problems that Chinese education is facing in Nepal. The first case is that the continuous changes in the government and politics of Nepal have caused a change in the approaches of universities and language education centers in that country. Second, there is insufficient training of local Chinese language teachers. From this approach, China's special projects for South Asian countries such as Nepal should be increased immediately. Local teaching materials and other educational resources are relatively scarce. Based on the above analysis, in order to contribute to the quality development of Chinese education in Nepal, this paper makes countermeasures and relevant suggestions in the field of strengthening education and teacher training, emphasizing the training of Chinese talents in Nepal, the expansion of multi-purpose educational platforms, and the acceleration of Develops localized educational materials.
